What Epic Wellness Means to Me - Nadia Guerriero's Story

As Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of the Rockies Region, I am passionate about the mountains and the people that live, work, and play in our mountain communities. I think about each of our team members holistically – about not just performance at work, but also how we can best support you, your family, and your community. For me, the best way to do this as a leader is to destigmatize reaching out and asking for help – because our jobs, our personal relationships, and our feelings can be complicated or difficult from time to time. It’s a signal of strength to ask for support when you need it. Through Epic Wellness, we have a number of resources available to all team members. I hope that by speaking about mental health, we are normalizing asking for help, needing help, and not being okay – that we’re making you feel comfortable raising your hand and getting the support that you need.

Last January, Beaver Creek hosted Corey Levy, our Director of Wellness, and we engaged in an amazing conversation about mental and behavioral health resources, stigma and more. You can watch our conversation here.
