The National Ability Center Gets a New Home at Park City Mountain

At Park City Mountain, the National Ability Center (NAC) has a new home - the McGrath Mountain Center. For years, the NAC has been an important part of the Park City Mountain community – and now they have a new facility where they can continue to provide world-class adaptive recreation for individuals and families in the region. Where a double-wide trailer once stood, the NAC has now upgraded to a 9,400-square-foot facility, thanks to a historic land lease at the base of the mountain through Vail Resort’s nonprofit arm of EpicPromise, focusing on inclusive access – all in time for Park City Mountain’s 60th anniversary season. With more space and improved facilities, the McGrath Mountain Center is excited to host more athletes, youth, veterans, and over 65 adaptive instructors this year - better providing the Experience of a Lifetime for everyone. Excited to see the new space for yourself? Check out the story behind the center and what the new facility means to the community.
