What brought you to Vail Resorts and/or why do you stay?
I grew up in Colorado and have visited many of our resorts over the years. I love the company values and culture, so when the opportunity for me to join Vail Resorts presented itself I could not say no. I look forward to growing with Vail and helping elevate our People Connect team to the next level.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about family! I come from a very large but close-knit family, so any time spent with them is very important to me.
What is your nickname and why?
Sylvia! - this nickname started while I was working at Chipotle in their Shared Services team, for some strange reason, when taking calls people always thought I was introducing myself as Sylvia and not Nabyl. After many calls where I was repeatedly called Sylvia, the team started calling me that too.
If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Thailand! I have heard it is an amazing country, and I would love to visit their elephant sanctuaries.

What brought you to Vail Resorts and/or why do you stay?
I was brought to Vail Resorts through the Robert Half Temp Agency. I stay at Vail because I enjoy the people I work with and it's a place for me to grow.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about sports and art. I played a little college basketball and I create 3D character models that are ready to be used in both movies and video games.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was 7 I decided I wanted to be an artist that creates his own stories and characters.

What brought you to Vail Resorts and/or why do you stay?
I grew up in Colorado in the mountains, and have watched the ski/snowboard industry and the Colorado resorts grow over the years. I love the company values and culture, and I love Vail Resorts' opportunities for growth within the company. New challenges excite me and I am excited to help the company grow and improve!
What are you passionate about?
Harry Potter, detective shows, animals (especially rescue pets), cooking, movies and the environment.
What's your favorite bad joke?
Two muffins were baking in the oven.
One turns to the other and says, "Uf! Is it hot in here, or is it just me?"
And the other turns and screams "AHHH! A talking muffin?!?!?"
What is the last thing you geeked out on?
Most recently Geeks Who Drink trivia. Also, the new Harry Potter augmented-reality game.

I am extremely passionate about improving the ski industry for the better.
What are you passionate about?

What mythical creature would improve the world most if it existed?
A liger but the napoleon dynamite version. This would bring everyone to world peace
If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Japan in prime winter months for the insane amount of powder they get. The goal is to make the trip in 2020.
