Keystone Resort Opens Bergman Express

With Keystone Resort’s new 6-passenger Bergman Express chair now spinning, 555 new acres of lift-served terrain are open to skiers and riders of all levels to enjoy terrain previously accessed by hiking only. Bergman and Erickson Bowls offer an inclusive mountain experience, including one of the highest altitude green-level trails in the country! For those still looking to reach more untouched areas of the resort, 1,300+ acres of hike-to terrain will still be available for expert skiers and riders.

Chris Sorensen, Vice President and General Manager of Keystone, said, “Bergman Express will be a gamechanger for skiers and riders at Keystone... Now, the majority of our guests will have the opportunity to experience the amazing feeling of being on top of the world and adventuring into the high alpine. This project has taken a tremendous amount of work and would not have been possible without our incredible employees, the partnership of the U.S. Forest Service and the visionary leadership of Bill and Jane Bergman. We can’t wait for skiers and riders to experience it!”

Great work to the team at Keystone for bringing this unique mountain experience to life. Learn more about the new lift and terrain and see the opening day photos.
