Green Up Day takes place on the first Saturday in May each year in Vermont as a community-led initiative to clean up roadsides and green spaces throughout the state. For the 53rd Vermont Green Up Day on May 6, our teams at Okemo Mountain, Stowe Mountain Resort and Mount Snow collaborated by greening up Route 100, the scenic byway that connects all three resorts.
Patti Martin from Stowe Mountain Resort rallied more than 100 team members and their family and friends to join in. Patti says, "Since Okemo, Stowe, and Mount Snow all became part of Vail Resorts, I’ve had it in my mind that the three resorts should do a group event for EpicPromise. Vermont Green Up Day seemed like a natural for many reasons—environmental, community, and we are proud Vermonters.” Great work to our team members for their dedication to our communities and living our Do Good value!
