Exciting news at Hunter Mountain – Trent Poole is taking on the role of General Manager (GM)! Trent is joining the team at Hunter from his current position as GM at Jack Frost Big Boulder (JFBB). Trent has over 18 years of experience with Vail Resorts, starting in accounting and finance at Keystone Resort and Breckenridge. Trent's expertise in finance and project management played an important role in the successful Epic Lift Upgrade project in 2022 at JFBB. Now, at Hunter, he’ll take on the Epic Lift Upgrade of the new six-person high-speed chairlift coming to the resort next year. Trent is taking over at Hunter from Russ Coloton, who is retiring after an outstanding 44-year career at the resort. The two will work together during the transition to drive the resort forward while also celebrating the rich history, traditions and community at Hunter Mountain.
