Get to know Tina and Shannon and their new roles. In Australia, Tina Burford is returning to Hotham as the General Manager. Tina’s nearly four decades in the industry started as a ski instructor at Hotham. She was most recently the Resort Services Director at Perisher and is returning to her roots at Hotham. Tina’s contributions to our resorts and industry include her many years of leadership in snowsports instruction and racing as well as leading the implementation of resort software at Perisher to drive the online advanced sales strategy.
Shannon Buhler is moving into the Vice President & General Manager role at Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont. Affectionately known as the “snow boss” by her team at Northstar, where she was most recently the Sr. Director of Mountain Ops, Shannon is bringing her knowledge and passion for the industry to the Stowe Mountain Resort community. Shannon has been a champion for supporting women leaders in the outdoor industry and building community, and she co-leads Vail Resorts’ Women & Allies Employee Resource Group.
