Much has changed this season, but you still have access to a range of benefits and perks that come with working for Vail Resorts! To ensure we can all Be Safe, Together while enjoying our mountains, some of the redemption details for our perks have changed. Please review the details below carefully.
Employee & Dependent Passes
Your employee pass and eligible dependent pass(es) give you access to ski and ride at all of our owned and operated resorts and are exempt from this season's reservation system. (As always, employee and dependent passes may be subject to restrictions when there is limited terrain open).
If you haven’t yet this season, make sure to sign your Ski/Activity Waiver – your ski pass as well as eligible dependents’ passes will not be activated until you do so.
Comp Tickets & Coupons
Family & Friends coupons are valid beginning Dec. 8 and are subject to advance purchase from available lift ticket inventory with some limited blackout dates. To redeem a coupon, your friends and family must do one of the following:
- Buy a full-priced, full-day adult lift ticket online (pending availability) then bring the employee benefit coupon to a ticket window for a refund of the discounted amount.
- Go to a ticket window to redeem the coupon for any day of the season (pending availability). This can be done in advance or same-day either by the employee (on behalf of the guest) or by the guest.
Note that lift tickets will be limited this season and may be sold out on some days. In the interest of safety, it is imperative that employees check the resort website to confirm lift ticket availability before proceeding to the resort window to transact. Please also be aware that there is no guarantee of lift ticket availability until the employee/guest transacts either online or at the window.
Head over here for more information about coupons and to see how many you may be eligible to receive this winter.
$5 Meals & Dining Discounts
This season, we will offer $5 meals as a grab-and-go sack lunch to make sure you get your meal even if in-person dining is closed or capacity in lodges is limited.
In addition, at select restaurants, you may be able to get up to 50% off food. Meal discounts for all non-uniformed employees may be restricted during peak hours, and we ask that all employees be mindful of busy guest hours when dining.
To see local details on how to get your $5 meal or dining discounts, check EpicEmployee > My Location > My Local Perks.
Ski School Discounts
This season we will continue to offer free ski lessons for employees for certain levels. Reservations will be required and restrictions may apply. Eligible dependents can also take discounted lessons with reservations, subject to availability. See US details here and Canada details here.
Retail & Rental Discounts
As an employee, you get 20% off retail purchases and 50% off tuning and rentals. Check out EpicEmployee > My Location > My Local Perks to see qualifying retail locations near you. Please shop during non-peak times and be respectful of space constraints due to COVID-19 protocols.
Save big on a mountain getaway with discounted employee lodging rates. See rates and make reservations at EpicEmployee > My Benefits & Perks > My Lodging Perks, and keep an eye out for early access to lodging sales throughout the season.
