We released our fourth annual EpicPromise Progress Report, and what our team was able to accomplish alongside our many devoted partners and mountain communities – especially amid the unprecedented challenges of the past two years – is impressive.
Vail Resorts achieved 85% renewable electricity across our 34 North American resorts. We announced our leadership in the Climate Collaborative Charter—the ski industry’s first unified effort to combat climate change. Additionally, Vail Resorts donated $19.4 million to 150 local nonprofit organizations working to address the top priorities of the communities where we operate. This includes $9.4 million donated products and services to youth organizations and other members of our communities who might not otherwise have access to outdoor recreation. And the EpicPromise Employee Foundation provided $1.72 million in emergency relief grants and scholarships to team members.
