What brought you to Vail Resorts and/or why do you stay?
My first draw to Vail was my family and friends that work here. As I learned more about our company I was inspired by our green initiatives and our Experience of a Lifetime testimonies. I stay for our incredible resorts, amazing outdoor activities and my extraordinary coworkers!
What are you passionate about?
As you'll see below, I'm passionate about reading! "Books are humanity in print." Additionally, I have a love of traveling, eating, fitness and dogs! I'm partial to my Yorkshire Terrier; her name is Sushi!
What's the best book you've read recently? Why?
The best book I've recently read is, "The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder, Insanity and the Making of the Oxford English Dictionary." This book is amazing! It's a fascinating true story of an American Civil War veteran and doctor who became mentally unstable and was committed to an insane asylum. Meanwhile, professors were working to create the greatest dictionary of all time, but they needed help from the public to compile all the definitions. You'll never guess what meticulous genius provided thousands of submissions! If you love history or just a crazy life story, definitely give this one a read!

What brought you to Vail Resorts and/or why do you stay?
I was originally a ski instructor for 3-6-year-olds at Vail. After working for a different company, I really missed the atmosphere and culture of Vail. Also, Vail is rated top 50 employers in the US so that's a plus.
What are you passionate about?
I'm passionate about helping people. I also am passionate about skiing, animals, and traveling.
What is the last thing you geeked out on?
I started alpine/touring this past season and got my own set-up. Still stoked about it.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a vet, but am seriously traumatized by gore, so that didn't end up happening.

What brought you to Vail Resorts and/or why do you stay?
I grew up in Pennsylvania skiing the ice-covered "mountains" and came out to Colorado or Utah once a year for a ski trip with my Dad. It quickly became my dream to work in the ski industry, so after college I made the move to Colorado. I love working for a company full of like-minded, outdoor-loving people!
What are you passionate about?
My family will always be my number one, spending time with my sweet puppy Maple, spending as much time outdoors as possible, art and live music
What was your first pet?
A hermit crab named Climber who lived to be 8 years old!
What's the greatest bit of advice a parent or mentor has given you?
Happiness is an inside job. Don't assign that anyone that much power over your life.

I came for the culture and the opportunity to learn from and work alongside really talented people! That's also the reason I stay!
What are you passionate about?
Experiencing new things, meeting new people, growing as a person and spending as much time in Colorado's hot springs as possible.
What's the greatest bit of advice a parent or mentor has given you?
Never mess up an apology with an excuse.
What's your favorite bad joke?
What did the dolphin say when it bumped into the whale?...... I didn't do it on porpoise!
