Belinda Trembath – who most call BT – is a leader making big moves in our company. Currently the Vice President & General Manager at Perisher in Australia, she will be joining the Whistler Blackcomb team as Vice President & Chief Operating Officer starting next month. BT grew up skiing in Australia and started her career as a ski instructor at Mt. Hotham. In her more than 30 years of experience in the ski industry she has provided oversight for all three of our Australian resorts—Mt. Hotham, Falls Creek and Perisher, navigated through the pandemic and borders reopening in Australia, been a proactive member of tourism and government advisory boards, and spearheaded a reconnection with the Ngarigo Monaro people, who are the traditional custodians and owners of the land at Perisher. She even spent a season in British Columbia early in her career – and Canada holds a special place in her heart. BT is passionate about the outdoors, snowsports, all forms of biking, and her teams. She is looking forward to taking on this opportunity at Whistler Blackcomb.
