Allison Serfass is our VP of Retail Merchandise at Vail Resorts. From early on in her career, Allison was taught that leadership and power were one and the same and, throughout the course of 10 years, Allison built up “leadership armor” to protect herself and drive business results. After landing her dream job, Allison was unable to sustain the level of stress and pressure caused by this way of working and needed a change. She embarked on a journey of self-reflection to discover the true meaning of leadership. And, while Allison has learned how to take off her “armor” and lead as her authentic self, she has replaced this armor with more powerful protection: trust from her team.
