BRECK SKI SEASON EXTENDED

We are excited to announce that after a record-breaking winter season and an abundance of spring snowfall, Breckenridge will extend the 2018-19 ski and snowboard season for two additional weekends beyond Memorial Day. The resort will remain open daily through Memorial Day, May 27 as planned, and then will shift to a weekend schedule, offering skiing and riding on Saturdays and Sundays, June 1-2 and June 8-9, weather and conditions permitting.

During the additional weekends, operations will continue to be based out of Peak 7, with access to primarily advanced- and expert-level terrain, via the Independence SuperChair.

SPRING ACCESS TO A-BASIN
As long as Breck is open for skiing and riding, employees will still be able to enjoy spring skiing and riding at Arapahoe Basin for free with their employee pass. Once Breck is closed for the season, employees can continue to ski and ride at Arapahoe Basin for $10 a day through closing day of their 2018-19 winter season. A-Basin has communicated that their current expectation is to remain open through June 9, the same as Breck.

THE DETAILS

  • Following closing day at Breck, now planned for June 9, if A-Basin remains open, Vail Resorts employees and dependents can ski or ride at A-Basin for $10 through the resort’s closing date.
  • To ski or ride with an employee or dependent pass during this time, please visit the A-Basin ticket office with your pass to purchase a $10 ticket (you cannot go directly to the lift)
  • As a reminder, employee discount coupons are not valid at A-Basin.

Remember that skiing and riding at A-Basin is a privilege, and we ask that if you and your dependents are taking advantage of late-season turns at the resort, please observe all safety and conduct codes, and do your best to preserve the guest experience when there.

Enjoy the remainder of this incredible spring ski and ride season and have an epic summer!
