Get to know Bobby who is making the move to a new resort leadership role on June 1. Bobby is currently the VP & GM of Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont and taking on the new opportunity to lead Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado as the VP & Chief Operating Officer. Bobby is originally from Evanston, Illinois and has spent more than 30 years in the snowsports industry including his work in ski and snowboard schools and skier services at Keystone, Vail Mountain, Crested Butte and Telluride. Bobby also represented the US for eight years on the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) National Alpine Team. During his time at Stowe, Bobby and his team successfully installed the new Sunrise Six Lift and worked closely with the community to improve ski area access.
Bobby says, “Throughout my career, I’ve spent more time on the mountain than off it, and I love nothing more than engaging with our guests and community members firsthand...I look forward to returning to Colorado to build on the team’s many successes.”
