A MESSAGE FROM BILL ROCK: KEYSTONE OPENING & RESTRICTIONS

The snow is falling early and our extraordinary team of snowmakers has been working hard to get us up and running for the winter, which is why we are excited to announce that we are opening Keystone on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019.

While I am just as excited as you to officially begin this season, we want to prioritize our guests’ time on the mountain and ensure we are providing an Experience of a Lifetime. In order to ensure a positive guest experience, we are putting in place employee and dependent pass restrictions for Saturdays and Sundays. During these restricted days, only employees who are working will be allowed on the mountain. For employees who are working, skiing and riding is only permitted as required to perform your job duties, and please remember to observe all slope safety guidelines. We will let you know as soon as pass restrictions are lifted.

Opening the North American season this early is a truly thrilling moment for our Company. Investing in snowmaking has been a high-priority business strategy and it is amazing to see the vision come to life and expand the offerings for our guests. For more information, check out the blog from our snowmaking team at Keystone documenting their journey to prepare for the season.

Thank you to everyone across all our Colorado resorts for your dedication and hard work preparing for the upcoming season. As the excitement builds I am looking forward to seeing you on the slopes in the coming weeks.
