Tom Pettigrew, formerly Senior Director of Skier Services at Park City, moved into the role of Vice President & General Manager of Stevens Pass this week. And, Okemo, Mount Sunapee and Crested Butte have all officially joined Vail Resorts, bringing our total number of resorts to 18.
Beginning this October, Vail Marriott Mountain Resort will officially debut its new guest room experience as part of the property’s approximate $25 million reimagination. Check out the transformation with employee rates.

Stevens Pass has officially joined Vail Resorts, becoming our first resort in Washington State. The addition of Stevens Pass, when combined with Whistler Blackcomb, provides our Pacific Northwest pass holders and guests an enhanced and differentiated Experience of a Lifetime.

We have entered into two acquisition agreements: The first to purchase three resorts from the Mueller family – Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont, Mount Sunapee Resort in New Hampshire and Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Colorado; and the second to purchase Stevens Pass in Washington State from Och-Ziff Real Estate.
